Emma and Julia Mogus - Founders of Books With No Bounds3,000 books and school supplies were recently shipped to Antler River Elementary School in the Chippewas of the Thames First Nation. Students also recieved NEW Kobo Arc 10" Tablets through our computer literacy programming. September, 2015 - After travelling almost 2000 kms north, our team arrived at Wapekeka First Nations carrying hundreds of school supplies, sports equipment and books. After this community lost their school to a horrific fire earlier in the year, Books With No Bounds was contacted for help. Immediately we shipped 20 brand new KOBO ARC 10" Tablets, along with 3000 books and teacher resources and thousands of school supplies. We are grateful for the support of many in helping to rebuild the resources needed for education for this small remote northern reserve.
Since 2011, Books With No Bounds has shipped to all 49 First Nations communities of the Nishnawbe Aski Nation in remote regions of northern Ontario. We continue to send books to other First Nation communities in Ontario through our regular scheduled shipping dates and emergency shipments. We believe every child, regardless of where they live, deserve access to good books!
